It's incredible how God can use one available life who's just open with the gifts God has given them.

And that's why we're encouraging that for you because of stories like that.

I do want to say, before we open the word, that we are about to start school in our local schools here, elementary schools, junior high, high school, all the many schools that make up

Auburn City or Lee Scott or wherever you are educating your children. And if you're going back to

school this week, I just want to encourage you, this is the most unique set of circumstances for

going back into school. And I want to encourage you to make sure that your number one pursuit this year is the

stability that comes from knowing Jesus for yourself. I want to encourage our college students,

thousands of you who are moving back to Auburn, but you're moving back to an Auburn that is

unlike anything you can recognize before. And I feel so bad for the freshmen who are moving here for the

first time because it's like we're all learning this new normal together and then they get

thrown into a new season of life where they didn't even really get to graduate high school.

And now here they are in a brand new circumstance. We're available to pursue Jesus together,

even if it looks different during these days. And I wanted to have a moment before we

open the Word of God to pray for our teachers, our administrators, and all those who are leading

into uncharted waters, coaches, officials in our government, because these are impossible decisions

that no matter what you do, it's going to have negative consequences and you're going

to receive negative feedback. I can personally feel their pain, but not to the level that some

of them are feeling it right now. So can we just as a church family pray for our teachers and pray

for all of those who are in a position where they have to make decisions and lead in waters

that they've never

navigated before. Let me pray. Heavenly Father, I just want us as a church to have a moment to love

on and appreciate all of those who are getting ready to go back to school. I pray for parents
