My famished friends, welcome to a brand new year.

We are so excited. There's only one way to kick off the new year and that is with our own insider ringer homies.

We have the marvelous Mallory Rubin and the incandescent Jason Concepcion.

You know them from Binge Mode. They're on to help us ring in the new year

here on House of Carve for talking about the crazy and expansive

food scene in the Harry Potter series.

So a little binge mode, HOC mashed up and I'm saying mashed up because you

know I got mashed potatoes on my mind angry almies a couple words before we

jump into that delicious conversation.

Speaking of mashed potatoes, I hope everybody had a terrific holidays with friends and

families. I know I did a couple shoutouts to some meals that I had with friends and families. These were

best bites. Best holiday bites is the way that I'll put it, wrapping up 2018 bourbon steak for a glorious sit down with a bunch of

degenerate friends. I in fact so degenerate I recorded a podcast immediately after this delicious meal at

bourbon steak. I may have enjoyed a glass of red wine or seven and then I got on

with with the podfather himself, Bill Simmons and we took down the trade value.

You may have enjoyed listening to that.

I know I enjoyed recording it.
