I think he's averaging 21.5 points of game since he's been back

three rebounds definitely has made a big difference but Mason Jones

37 points 11 and 19 from the floor, 12 or 15 on free throws.

So Mason did a couple of interesting things.

Not only did he join the 1,000 point club at Arkansas.

Let's see, with a made free throw at the 1558 mark of the first half, Jones became the

48th razor back to score 1,000 or more career points.

He was the fifth fastest player in school history to accomplish the feat as he reached 1,000 points in just 61 games. He's one of 8 players in Arkansas history to do it in two seasons. That's not the only thing that Mason did. He also made

some SEC history. This is according to the ESPN stats. Arkansas's Mason Jones has hit his, excuse me, Arkansas's Mason Jones has his

70th 30-point game of the season tying Marcus Thornton from 2008 to 2009 and Jody Meeks from 2008 to 2009 for the most

30 point games in a season by an SEC player over the last 20 years.

That's impressive stuff.

So that ties the record, so he can set it.
