Those are the coaches who made it to the Hall of Fame on the first ballot.

Don Scholar, Tom, Landry, Chuck Knoll, but not Bill Belichick.

He will not be in the Hall of Fame this year.

He inevitably will make it.

But he goes back to the, to square one with a different track.

It's not the same as players.

You don't get back as easily every year.

The committee has to put him up again next year.

And that's the other thing that drives me crazy, the committee process.

Last year, because look, this is your opportunity to put someone in position to get in.

And they have a separate seniors committee, coaches committee, contributors committee,

and they put in the effort and they come up with their candidate, and then the process goes from there. And again,

it used to be up or down. Now it's this weird competition that really isn't viewed like one,

but it is because you only can vote for three. So vote for me. Don't vote for that guy. Vote for me.

Not him. Me. Right. Right., now the people on the coaches committee have to ask themselves, what do we do this year?

Who do we put up?

Do we put Belichick up again?

Or, because it's only at, this whole thing has added to an already existing logjam of coaches who deserve to get in like Mike Shanahan and Mike Holmgren to name just two.

They're going to be stuck because no coach should get in before Belichick.

And this process like the contributor process.

Remember the name Ralph Hay last year that came up?
