I wake up around 6. 6.30, and then I go through the notes. I read the stories, and I make sure I feel, like, confident about what we're talking about. I'm going to take a shower. Oh, we're so prepared. That's why you're successful, because you do the work. Yeah, you have to do the work. You can't just show up and not do the work.

You really can't.

A couple of times early on in my career, I used to think I could just wing it.

I thought, oh, this is not that difficult.

I can be interesting for six minutes or four minutes on a TV.

No, you can't. Do the work.

Because if you've got nothing to say, you can't pull off the segment.

You've worked in TV for a long time. You can really tell the difference between those who do the

work and those who don't. I mean, I've seen a few crash and burns in my time and it's,

then you just lose the shot to do it again and sad. That's what it is. That's what it is. I think this is relevant to all our lives. When I was a publicist, when my clients used to do television, I always told them, listen, the secret here, the goal here is not actually to sell an album or to sell a movie. It's to get invited back. If you get invited back, that means that you've done a good job, and we want a long-term relationship with these shows. We don't want you just on once and never again. If you're not very good, you don't get invited back. Right. And listen, Rob, you make it look easy, but I know you put the work in. I do the work. I do the work. If Kelly doesn't renew, should they just replace a Hoda's name has come up? Or should they start a brand new talk show? That's another option for him. It's very expensive to do that. A couple of days later, she did Andy Cohen's show and said, I'm interested. I want that show. Well, now that Kelly has cancelled her show in Vegas, and that was actually pretty dramatic. 90 minutes before a show to cancel it,
