zero followers phase and actually get a head start from what they'd get if they just started on

their own? That seed of an idea grew into something real. We've launched voices that matter,

brought new creators into the spotlight,

and cultivated a unique, and I think supportive community that embraces every new misfit

we welcome into the fold. But here's the hard truth. That dream comes with a cost,

and right now that cost is catching up with us.

So how does 1159 media actually work?

Well, our flagship show, this show, the 911 calls podcast, along with support on Patreon,

fuels everything we do for our newer creators, marketing, promotion, production, editing, studio space, video production,

video editing, social media distribution, all of it.

For shows that often have zero revenue for up to a year after they start, you're listening

to the engine that we use to make the whole thing move.

Every new creator we support relies on this podcast and our community and our ability to prop them up until they can stand on their own.

And sometimes they do stand on their own, which has always been my goal.
