This episode is all about that four letter word that's been holding so many of us back for so long. That's debt. And we're going to tackle how we can

all map out a plan to get out of debt once and for all. We've created an eight step process

that you all can follow to get yourselves

unburied from the weight of all your debt.

All right, so let's get started with step number one.

You want to lay all your cards on the table.

So you want to grab a sheet of paper and a pen

and start to take inventory of all of your debt.

You want to list them from who you owe to how much you owe, even your interest rate, as well as put down your payment amount, your minimum payment amount for each bill.

This is important because what we find is a lot of people that are in debt they don't even know how much they really owe

They're they're really shocked when they do pull out a balance or a statement and they see what the balance is I don't really understand that but I do understand it because you know sometimes you just say well

I already owe them so at this point it doesn't really matter how much I owe them

Yeah, I think we can easily get that head in the sand mentality.

I know, you know, at a few points where I was buried in debt,

it was better for me just not to know.

I felt, I found a sense of comfort in not knowing and not facing up to the reality of the situation. It was easier for me to just get through the day, kind of say,

it's not that bad. I mean, I think I owed this when really was probably twice as much as what I thought, or at least what I was allowing myself to think.
