It's kind of weird to not have football

season to talk about here. I was kind of like midweek this week was like, oh, who should I get for

the opposition research podcast? It was like, oh, yeah, there's no opposition, at least not now,

at least not yet. It would have been nice to be talking to somebody who covers Michigan today, but hey,

nonetheless, we're okay.

We're almost into the football off season.

We are into the football postseason for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

We're going to talk a lot about that later on in this podcast as well as, you know,

all the ongoing developments, the continuing changing landscape of college football,

and certainly that in Iowa City in the Hawkeye football program.

This is one of these topics where I'm probably going to say a thing or two here on Thursday afternoon

that may not even be relevant by the time you hear this on Thursday night or

Friday or Saturday or whenever you get around to listening to this. And so bear with me on

that part of it, if you would, please. But before we do anything with football, definitely have to

start with some basketball talk as the Hawkeyes move to 6 and 1 with an 81 to 65 win over Georgia Tech on Tuesday night.

Now get a nice long week off after the holiday tournament and then coming back with the Big 10

ACC Challenge.
