Welcome to the Bronx Pinsripe Show.

Another day has gone by and another day where the Yankees did not speak. I think this is the longest it's been, at least in recent memory. Usually they do that post-mortem press conference within five or six days of the season ending. It's now Thursday, October 14th, the season ended last Tuesday. So it's been, is that nine days?

I'm not a math wizard.

Anyway, we're going to be grading hitters today, Scott.

Hitters, position players.

It's, it's, it's, it's Alex Rodriguez Shijan, is what it is.

Well, I thought we gave some pretty favorable grades on the pitching side.

And that's because overall the pitching staff was pretty good.

I gave the numbers at the end of last podcast.

The same cannot be said for the offensive side. The Yankees finished 10th in the

American League out of 15 teams in total runs scored. They had a WRC plus of 101, which means

they are a sliver above league average offensively. This roster, with all of those big hitters,

were not built to be a league average offense,

and that's exactly what they were.
