The Phillies are in a lawsuit about their secret technologies.

So I don't know why I can't say that without smiling.

I guess because for so long we were like,

the Phillies have like, I don't know, like a hamster on a wheel in like a shed somewhere.

And that's their analytics department.

And now, you know, obviously things have changed a great deal.

They're, you know, going even beyond analytics, just their general front office strategy is apparently worked through a company that is now potentially sharing that strategy with other teams in the National League East, which I would say, yeah, it's not what you want.

No, it's not.

I'm really interested in, I want to find out more about this. I haven't had the opportunity to dig in, but it looks like a messy, messy breakup between two, to a between the Phillies and one of their, you know, former, former employees for their former executives.

Yeah, according to Sports Business Journal, the Phillies have filed a lawsuit against software companies zealous analytics and their parent company, TeamWorks Innovations, alleging that,

which, by the way, were these named by LinkedIn? Like, come on. It feels like they just came out of a random tech company name generator.

But regardless, alleging the firms are attempting to sell components of their baseball analytics

platform to the team's division rivals in violation of a multimillion dollar agreement.
