Greetings. Today, we are talking about the upcoming winter meetings, which will be taking place in Dallas, Texas, from December 9th to December 12th.

This is, as many of you likely know, the time of year in which the pulse of the offseason gets at least a little faster,

as executives and players and agents meet up to shake hands and make

deals where it is Juan Soto's free agency will come to an end pretty early possibly by

the first day of the winter meetings and we'll be talking to Craig Goldstein the

editor-in-chief of baseball prospectus in just a bit before he heads down to Dallas

for the main event itself.

But first, Liz, forget Juan Soto and the definitely New York team he's going to sign with.

Forget Steve Cohen and the Mets.

Forget the Blue Jays and their we demand to be taken seriously sign.

Forget the angels who may not even bother to send an emissary to Dallas, having wrapped up all their mediocre at best moves by the start of December.

Forget all that.

Let's focus exclusively on those Philadelphia Phillies.
