As the NLCS, we had hoped to talk to you today about the NLCS being over and the Dodgers

eliminating the Mets.

Unfortunately, we didn't get that.

We got a 12 to 6 Mets victory in game five.

They had a Pete Alonzo home run in the first inning and never really looked back.

It is apparently their victory was a playoff feat.

MLB.com says unseen since 2002.

They will now head back to Los Angeles to play game six of the NLCS.

I don't know about you, Liz, but I'm really pulling for the Dodgers in this one.

MLB is so, so close to getting the Yankees Dodgers World Series that's wanted for so long.
