Liz Rocher of Yahoo Sports. Hello, Liz. Hello, Justin. Well, Liz, here we are in the midst of hurricane season, safely in

Philadelphia, where the Phillies are not enmeshed in any scheduling fiascos, brought about by

the poor planning on Major League Baseball's part, or, I don't know, the Atlanta Braves, just

rolling the dice on trying to make a few more bucks.

But really, of all the messes going on within baseball, the Phillies are outside all of them.

It's actually for the gauntlet, it felt like we just ran through, a pretty calm moment for the Phillies.

In the 2024 season, you've got the playoffs clinched. You've got the NL East clinched.

You've got the first round by clinched.

I don't have home field advantage, but that's potential still at this point.

And even so, it seems like a lot of people are ready to compromise on what was before a non-negotiable issue for this team moving into October.

Liz, would you say you are shifting into Red October mode along with the rest of the Phillies?

Oh, yeah.

I mean, I'm desperately trying to prepare myself for less sleep, constantly eating terrible food.

I have like a list of like antacids and stuff like that.

I need to get into the house.

Right.

The medication, that's an important part.

You know, like Benadryl's for sleep.
