Boy, it sure sounds like Trey Turner's hamstring is not going to need six weeks. Going by the tweets of Philly's beat writer Matt Gelb for the athletic.

It sounds like the past couple of days Turner's been running agility drills.

Rob Thompson says there is no timeline.

And Turner, according to Gelb, quote, does not look like someone who will miss another four weeks.

That could be a nice little development for the Phillies offense.

Turner was, of course, one of the top offensive contributors before he went down with a hamstring issue.

And speaking of issues, Taiwan Walker in the last game against the Mets, the Phillies played. They played two at City Field in New York and then another in another two at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. And in the final game of that four game stretch, Taiwan Walker took a Starling Marte laser off of his toe and is now suffering from a contusion of sorts. It's up in the air whether he will make his next start or not.

But the Phillies did take three of four from the Mets, despite the misfortune at the end of it.

Obviously, they have Spencer Turnbull ready to go.

They've been keeping him stretched out in case Walker is unable to make his next start. In general, you know, they could,

they could also skip his spot entirely. Who's to say? Obviously, you feel for Walker,

who despite his reputation as the weak link of sorts in the rotation, he's pitched pretty

constructively for a back of the rotation arm since returning from shoulder soreness late in April.

But this is the luxury of being a good team with depth.

An incident like this is not a total disaster.

However, in the past two weeks or so, we've seen reports pop up and games being missed due to

Turner's hamstring.

Kyle Schwarber's back, J.T. Real Muto's knee, Bryce Harper had a migraine.
