Coming up, we are just a few days away from opening day,

and the Phillies roster appears to be set for when the team takes

the field at Citizens Bank Park against the Atlanta Braves with some moves made over the weekend.

The Phillies also extended a key member of the team getting some housekeeping out of the way for

2025 as well. So we'll let you know some of the moves the team made, including also a trade over the weekend that was kind of surprising.

So lots of details to get you ready for opening day coming up here on Thursday.

And Justin and Liz and I will be doing our big 2024 Major League Baseball Phillies preview episode.

We'll record that on Tuesday night this week and have that ready for you on Wednesday.

So this is just kind of an appetizer for that podcast, which is going to be coming up in a couple of days.

But wanted to get you caught up on all the news from over the course of the weekend because lots of important things were going down during the course of the weekend.
