1983 World Series, of course. It was on the tip of everybody's mind as this series began,

undoubtedly 40 years ago the Phillies and the Orioles met in one of the least remembered world

series in Major League Baseball history. It was a snoozer,

especially for Phillies fans as they won game one and then watched as Baltimore won four

straight games, three straight wins by one run, but it was just like solo home runs. I remember

watching highlights of that series and being bored because it was just like some solo home runs

here and there was really,

there's no memorable moment that you can really hold on to.

But yet here we are now 40 years later.

Could that World Series really have been 40 years ago?
