The Phillies just wrapped up two wins against the Rays down in Tampa, which I don't think is what most expected from this series going in.

The Phillies have been hot in the standings and scorching hot on the road,

but the rays have been firmly entrenched as baseball's best team since the season started.

It's not exactly David and Goliath, but it is like a couple of guys sitting on each other's shoulders and Goliath.

But this is baseball.

You can't always be happy about who your opponent is.

I mean, I was pretty happy the Phillies' opponents in their last series was the Nationals,

and that didn't really work out in their favor.

So having to face the raise after a series lost to the Nats didn't seem like an optimistic enterprise.

But then again, these Phillies doesn't really seem to matter. They'll lose

two of three to the nationals and then look like assassins against the raids. We've seen it time and

time again. Aaron Nola, one of the shakiest players in baseball and who probably has the least,

is considered the least reliable starter among the fans, has had some of his best games this year against great teams, you know, the best teams in baseball, like the Astros and the Rays.

I mean, he's just, he remains in the state that he has been all season, and we're just going to have to sit here and watch it happen.

That's just how it works, folks.

And, you know, this isn't really the first time this kind of thing has happened.
