The day the murder I was on call detectives.

We usually have at least one detective who's on call we take turns every week.

This was a Sunday, the weekend, and I happen to be the guy that Sunday.

So I was at home with my wife and received a phone call from Sergeant Gwen Martin.

She was a patrol sergeant at time.

And she started telling me that they were on the scene of a apparent suicide.

I could tell she was emotional.

It appeared to be an adult female who was dead from an obvious gunshot wound to the head.

But he said at that time, this is the case where the female was receiving threats on the Internet.

So that sort of jogged my memory at that time.

And I asked, well, why do you want me there?
