a very auspicious Monday morning because of course we are in the midst now of the summer.

It's August. The sun is reasonably shiny, but not particularly hot, which is fine with us.

Peter Hitchens is here with me. I think

he'd probably agree, if you want to go somewhere hot, go somewhere hot. As Kevin O'Sullivan

has done, he's off to the sunnier climbs of the Mediterranean, where it will be 30-something

degrees. And, you know, that's what it's supposed to be. Here it's 20-something, and that's

absolutely fine. It is supposed to get hotter a little bit later on the climate fanatics telling us that the world is on fire nobody can seemingly agree about any of that but i was reading some rather

disturbing climate science over the course of the weekend in which people were saying if we do not

shut down all flying all aircraft travel and all kind of meat eating we will all die probably by about

2045.

Which may be true, may not be true.

Peter's going to talk about e-bikes today.

We're also going to have a look at what's going on in Ukraine, an interesting development

there.

But we will, of course, we continue to take your calls at all manner of things,

including the porcity of good driving in this country now where 13% more people are driving

up the motorway the wrong way than
