Hello, my friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. Hey, what do you do when you discover

that you've been distant from God? For whatever reason, you haven't been walking faithfully

and daily with Him. What do you do then? That's a question we all need to be able to answer

and we're going to dig into it today. But before we get there, I want to remind you about

a book that I've written that might help you in getting back on track with God. It's called

Recharge. And what it is is it's laying out a number of different ways of approaching

Bible study. Different ways you can go about reading, studying, journaling, all kinds of

practices that will help you not only understand God's word better, but apply it to your life

let's go back to that scenario that I raised at the beginning of the episode. You see,

when we make big mistakes in our walk of faith, it can really throw us for a loop. There's

all kinds of statements we begin making to ourselves with the help of the devil, by the way,

he's the one who gives us these statements of doubt and negativity, but statements like

this, I'm not worthy of pursuing God anymore because of the mistake I've made or God

has to be sick of dealing with me because I just continue failing, continue making mistakes.

Here's another one. God could never take me back because of what I've done. Friends,

have you ever heard those thoughts, those statements happening in your own mind? If you're

a believer in Jesus Christ, let me give you some really good news. Those statements are

not you. Those statements are the power of sin prompted by the enemy Satan to make you

doubt your faith. And what he's making you doubt is God's willingness to forgive. And

friends, those are things that are simply not true. Let's look at our story today. This
