Ingram Smith, Bud Elliott back again with another episode, the Nullcast. Bud had some fantastic feedback from our recently released episode about the booster structure situation and how that might evolve over the next couple of years.

0:17.0

There's something that we won't dedicate another episode to, but we do have a follow-up plan in the next two to three episodes that we're still looking to talk to some people, get a couple of different perspectives.

0:30.0

But I appreciate everybody's feedback if there's a particular part of the booster, just the booster situation in general that you'd like for us to cover or give extra consideration to let us know.

0:43.0

And that's something that we will try to circle back and touch on again. But thank you again to everybody who listened, had a lot of good discussion that came out as a, as a byproduct of that episode.

0:56.0

Want to thank Louisiana Hot Sauce as always, fantastic partner for us, fantastic product that we get to speak about. Three simple ingredients, one fantastic product and want to always begin the podcast with a hat tip to them.

1:11.0

But hey look, it sounds like we're on a decent little role here in recruiting, picked up another quality commitment recently and why don't we go ahead and begin today's podcast with a little bit of discussion of one Jay on McCluster.

1:26.0

A linebacker, a linebacker at a Lago Florida, so credit to this one goes to Raymond Woody, linebacker's coach, four star kid, sort of on the borderline of three and four stars looks like in the rankings.

1:39.0

We had a good listener question about rankings, which will hit in the next episode, but looks like a good player to me out seeing him in person a couple of times.

1:49.0

Decent athlete, I don't think he's a freaky athlete.

1:53.0

Pretty physical kid, which doesn't show in camps, but if you actually watch his film or even if you don't have full huddle access, if you just watch his highlight tape, he is a physical player.

2:06.0

He's willing to take on blocks, he's a pretty good tackler.

2:10.0

I would like to see him in maybe inside more, I know they've talked to him about playing some of that star position.

2:20.0

My question with him is the overall level of athleticism, I think, but I don't think he's a slug binding means.

2:28.0

I think he's a good take at this point, a player who they wanted certainly and who wanted in, but for my understanding, they could have had his commitment maybe a month ago.

2:39.0

However, he wanted to continue to take visits and check some stuff out and under the new policy, they're really trying to make sure that the kids they get are locked in, right?

2:50.0

If you are committed to Fort State, you're not supposed to be taking the other visits elsewhere.

2:56.0

And so he still wanted to go check out, I think Auburn and Miami, who were the top two contenders to sign him and ultimately he ends up going with Fort State.

3:06.0

Now, he is, I believe, the cousin of Dexter McCluster. Do you remember Dexter McCluster? He was a receiver at Ole Miss and then played for, I believe, the Steelers before becoming injured, but he was an excellent college player at receiver.

3:20.0

I do remember him. Yeah, really, really good player.

3:23.0

Pretty electric kid. So look, wherever he finishes in the rankings, whether it's top 300, top 200, top 400, I think this is a good take for your class.

3:34.0

It also means you are, you're pretty stacked at linebacker right now, which, Lord, they need it.

3:40.0

Kishan, Green, Jayon, Stephen Dix. They're doing really well at linebacker though, they'll continue to pursue Sivelle Smalls, your five-star kid out of the Seattle area.
