podcast. Tommy how are you man? I'm doing great and excited to talk about

something that is near and dear to both of our hearts man Starcade d' to me, when I think of Starcade,

Tommy, I think of that Thanksgiving Day or Thanksgiving Night Starcade, I should say, 83 to 87 to me.

That was the heyday of the NWA.

That was the heyday of Mid-Atlantic wrestling,

and that was the heyday of wrestling on Thanksgiving.

Absolutely, you know, Dave, we've talked about the territories.

We did a whole breakdown of the territories, which is a fabulous listen if you want to go back and listen to on the busted open

podcast and most feuds came to an end either Thanksgiving night or Christmas night.

They were the two biggest nights of professional wrestling,

which now if we think about it is so obscure to think about.

I even remember a couple of years ago where people were talking about wrestlers having to wrestle and be away from their families on

Christmas night and how dare they because of social media. But those times have long gone.
