Well, tonight, folks, we're going to talk about the word facsimile, but, uh, yeah, reasonable. Okay. That was the part that's not like the book of

Abraham, but yeah. Well, tonight, folks, we're going to talk about the word of wisdom, section 89 of the DNC. I think originally D&C section 81, if I'm not mistaken. I was trying to yeah, read those Roman numerals in the 1835 edition of the doctrine and covenants that you made a Yeah, and we'll get to that here shortly.

But tonight I thought we would go through the history of the Doctrine and Covenants that you made a slide of. Yeah, and we'll get to that here shortly.

But tonight I thought we would go through the history of the Word of Wisdom,

talk about the story we were given, the revelation itself, what science says about what these

substances are, good or bad for us, and go through some of the moments where the church and its leadership decided

to interact with the public at large or sometimes answers to a member's question and clarify

things. And one of the things I learned from preparing for this, and they're in part things I

knew already. But when you put it all together,

I don't think the brethren understand what the word of wisdom is, because they've been back and forth numerous times about what hot drinks is or whether caffeine is the problem. And so

tonight it'll be a lot of fun to dive into that. Any thoughts from you before we start?

By the time we're done with this, it's going to be apparent that

either God doesn't know what the word of wisdom is and keeps changing his mind or the

brethren may be not in such close connection with God all the time. Right. It's going to be one

or the other. And I don't think you're going to be left with many choices beyond those two.

So without further ado, no pun attended to the Book of Mormon,
