Welcome to the Ralph Nader Radio Hour. My name is Steve Scrovan, along with my co-host,

the man who handed Warren Beatty the wrong envelope at the Academy Awards, David Feldman.

Hello, David.

You laugh, but after last Sunday's Academy Awards,

I'm leaving the accounting firm of Pricewaterhouse Coopers

to take a job inside the White House Office of Management and Budget.

And we also have the man of the hour, Ralph Nader, who had a birthday this week a belated

happy birthday round oh happy birthday well thank you Steve and David it all comes once a

year for us so that's right happy birthday to you when it comes.

Actually for me it's going to be on Saturday.

So I'm not saying to send me anything.

Just you know, I'm just putting it out there.

We have a great show by the the way, as we always do, and I think I speak for David when I say that one of the great privileges is doing this show every week is that we get to talk to some of the smartest people in the world and then we go back to

our colleagues on our comedy shows that we write for and with all these smart ideas and pretend

to know what we're talking about.

What I'm trying to say is David and I are fraud.
