I do the show from New York and was crossing the street.

It was one way, looked the wrong way before I crossed, and reminded me of sometime back I was

in Cambridge, England, at Cambridge University, I was going to be speaking there, but in between

speaking engagements, they let me go through the documents of the church hill papers that's

a repository for his papers.

I was going through and I asked the curator, I would like to take a picture of this with

no flash, could I just take one picture, and he let me take a picture.

It was Churchill in 1932.

He was here in Washington, I'm sorry, here in New York City, and he started across the

street, but he looked the wrong way because he was used to the British streets, and a car

heading, and it did hurting, and he had to have health care.

Anyway, this letter was basically a prescription from Dr. OC Pickard, MD, here on East 90th Street,

I think it is, in New York, and it says, January 26, 1932, this is just certified.

And remember, this is during a prohibition time.

This is to certify that the post-accident convalescence of the Honorable Winston S. Churchill

necessitates the use of alcohol experience, especially at mealtimes.
