We welcome Sarah Amapur, Iranian-American entrepreneur, activist, and women's right advocate.

She's the founder of Main Street Assembly and a lifelong member of the Iranian Resistance.

She's also a leading advocate with the Women's Freedom Forum, a voice for the third option, which is regime changed by the people,

and a fierce believer in women-led movements for democracy. So we thought she'd be perfect

to break down what's happening in Iran today and what might be next. Alex, where do you want to

get started?

It's great to be here.

You know, first of all, I know we started talking about this pre-show a little bit.

Occasionally, we do a tiny little bit of prep.

Our listeners probably don't know that, but, you know, I know there really aren't a lot of people tracking this situation more closely than you are.

And I think it would just help kind of set set the table for our listeners and just understand

fact from fiction, fact from Trump's fiction, so to speak on what's going on and just help us

really understand what's going on there right now.

Yeah, absolutely. I will try to keep this as brief as possible because there's just so much

history packed into this moment that we are observing right now. This has been a long time coming

and has been sort of boiling for decades, literally. So what is happening

right now is that the people of Iran have reached a boiling point. They are fed up. They have
