James Houston is a Scottish designer, educator, and broadcaster who has worked in television for over 15 years.

Houston is delighted to lend his voice to the incredible stories on Clarksworld magazine.

He has made work for international networks including the BBC, Channel 4, National Geographic, and Discovery Channel.

As awards include the Newberry Medal, the Bram Stoker Award for most imaginative work, and an award from BAFTA, Scotland.

In 2008, Houston's video, Big Ideas, Don't Get Any, received praise from Radiohead who said his work was brilliant.

Houston created the world's first speech synthesis Christmas choir and directed the world's first auto-stereogram music video.

James currently broadcasts on Twitch, demonstrating a variety of creative projects from 3D printing a scale replica R2D2 to teaching how television motion graphics are made.
