In fact, I look forward to bringing you daily conversations that inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your understanding of God's word and that heightens your awareness of his

very real presence in your life. Well, if you listen often enough, you know, one of our regular

monthly guests is Stan Bennett. And for the longest time, we called this segment a faith

perspective from the Hill because Stan worked heavily in public policy. But he stepped away from

those roles as we've talked about in past months. But he still keeps his finger on the pulse of what's going on in the policy. But he stepped away from those roles, as we've talked about in past months,

but he still keeps his finger on the pulse of what's going on in the news and is very much

engaged in what's happening in the world today. So we want him to keep coming every month

to talk to us about the news from a redemptive perspective. And how do we discern the times?

How are we to pray? What can we physically

do to help our communities flourish? We're going to be asking questions like that every month as we

talk about some of these tough topics. And I'm so excited, we're adding a fun element to this

conversation every month of Than. Each month, we're going to highlight a key figure or a key moment

in our history. I said, I want some history lessons from you,an. And so with all that he has on his plate, that he's willing to add that

element to this show is such a treat to us. So we're going to be talking about that. We'll be talking

about, well, I'm not going to give it away. I'm going to let him tell us who we're going to talk about, we'll have a little history lesson for a moment, then we'll talk about some of the news headlines, how do we prepare for the days ahead, and then how do we

start praying now for the upcoming elections? And I often give this disclaimer when Thang comes on

that, you know, we want to model civil dialogue over hot topic issues because these are polarizing

times. Everybody has their opinions.

Many of us have strong opinions. But can we hear from each other and learn from each other?
