I'm Dave Musgrove, the magazine's editor, and I'm here with our Quizmaster, Justin Pollard. Hi, Justin. How yeah? Now, I suspect that some of you might be listening to this in a post-Christmas dinner thug with the last of the summer wine on the background. So Justin and I are going to attempt to drag you out of your torpor with seven rounds of historical questions.

Each round of six questions is themed around a subject and we'll give you the answers at the end of each round. So there's no surprise, this is just for fun. Excellent. Easy one to start with then. Okay, let's ramp it up a bit. Number two, why did the Earl of Oxford leave Elizabeth the first court for seven years? Was it A, because he was suspected of treason?
