I think about the quote that you said yesterday the William Faulkner quote.

The past is not passed in the south.

They were talking about history is not the past, the past it's not even past.

Yeah, and that I think pertains so much to what we're seeing right now with the Bundy family.

If you ask Mike Lee, who's a senator from Utah, or the Bundies, they would say that the 10th Amendment

indicates that the government cannot own public land that it belongs to the states.

And that continually gets you

know sort of ruled against that we know that the federal government can own public

land. We paid for all these lands with blood and treasure and we turned down the

proposal by Brigham Young to create the state of Deseret stretching from Burns

Oregon down to the Mexican border.

It's like I'm with them in the defense of the Constitution.

But they can't change the Constitution to make it say something that they want to.
