Emily Harmon felt like her infertility meant God was withholding blessings from her.

And then one day I was reading in Psalm 118 and it says,

it is good for me that I've been afflicted, that I might know their righteous statutes.

And it's like the Lord said, Emily, good isn't always happy. It isn't always happy.

It isn't always fun.

Sometimes it's sorrow and pain.

And I don't withhold that either because it's in that that you get to know me better,

that you're drawn closer to me, that you have a more intimate walk with me.

And so no good thing I withhold.

and how she learned to recognize some of the lies that she had been believing.

And then on Tuesday and Wednesday, we listened to John and Donna Avant, along with Aaron Davis,

talking about death. And what a rich biblical perspective they gave us, as they talked about the

hope that we have, even when

facing death, because of Jesus. And then yesterday, Laura Boos demonstrated that same kind of hope

as she shared how she processed the death of her unborn baby. I know so many moms who've experienced
