Are you longing for the second coming of Christ like you long for Christmas morning?

Do you remember when you were a child and it was near Christmas?

Perhaps the Christmas tree was in the family room and there were presents under the tree.

And you could hardly wait till Christmas morning.

I'm going to give you a story today about a man who was anticipating Christmas.

He was waiting for Christmas, the very first Christmas, the very best Christmas ever.

His name was Simeon.

He was looking.

He was longing.

He was anticipating the coming of Jesus Christ into this world.

The promise was fulfilled.
