Pastor John, I think I'd like to start with you.

We had an amazing, a brief conversation in the back about your early days and being mentored and pastored and

pastored and what those days were like under the leadership of your pastor, what he taught you,

and then it ended with that beautiful encounter, at least regarding the story,

you ended by telling me about that life-changing experience

that's really held you and kept you for years.

Can you talk to the people about your formative days

with your pastor, what that looked like to you?

Well, I came from a broken home.

My father was an unbeliever, and when my mother got saved, he began to be vicious. He didn't want a Christian wife. He certainly didn't want a

Holy Spirit, feel Christian wife. So whenever my mother got saved, she told him, she was his fifth wife, and she didn't know it.

He had two more after her, and I'm his only child out of seven marriages.
