I've been asked sometimes what did you learn from the Indians or what did you teach the Indians and some people have even asked me

did I teach very many of them to speak English? Well of course I never made the

slightest attempt to teach any Indian to speak English.

It wouldn't do him any good in a place called Ecuador.

But I did make some attempt to teach them some things of course to teach them the Bible the gospel
