Morning glory America. Bolzer. Hi Canada. That music means the hilsdale dialogue is upon us. The

last radio hour of the week. My guest as he is most week is Dr. Larry Arne. This, however, is a

show that originally broadcast in 2015. A series of shows on the Lincoln Douglas debates. And we

can't actually do any better than we did in those seven shows. Making use as we did then,

the Lincoln Douglas debate recreation by David Strathern and Richard Dreyfus a bit here and a bit

there to give you a little bit of color. Go and get that BBC recording. It's probably the best

investment in an audio book you can ever make. You'll get enough to sell you on that in the course

of this. But when we take this originally Dr. Arne was on his way to get the Bradley Prize in DC.

Dr. Arne, how are you? Very well. How are you here? Well, I'm bothered. I've got all these

travels that I've got in next week. I've got to go to DC to hear this lecture on Wednesday night

because this fellow named Arne is receiving this prize called the Bradley Prize at the Kennedy

Center. And I'm looking forward to this lecture. But it's a pain in the neck to get to DC in the

middle of the week. I hope it's a good lecture. You know, I don't even want to go myself.
