Some people can go their entire lives without ever having any paranormal experience. Others have had enough experiences to write a book or even a movie.

In some cases, this may be because that particular person may have a more open attitude about the paranormal.

But in other cases, a property may just be so full of activity that anyone at that property is primed for an experience.

This episode is a listener story from Corey in Tennessee. And this may be a perfect example of the latter.

I'm about to say is my own personal account. But it all pertains to the property that I grew up on just outside the city limits of Columbia, Tennessee.

Here's a little history of events that have taken place in the property that may have explained some of the experiences that I'm about to discuss.

First of all, there was a funeral of a soldier that was held on the property. I'm assuming World War II since the house was built in the early 1930s.

Supposedly, there used to be a barn on the property and one of the homeowners was found dead in that barn. He had allegedly hung himself.

There was another instance where a man was standing at the bottom of the staircase inside the house and he just dropped dead.

No one could determine the cause of death at the time even though the corner had fully inspected the body.

I don't know the timeline for all these instances, but I do know that it was before my grandparents moved into the house in 1987.

This was all information gathered from people who knew some of the previous owners and others that had heard rumors.

There have been more than a few unexplainable things that have happened to several people since my grandparents have moved onto the property.

When I was little, I had always heard stories about there being footsteps that you could hear coming from upstairs when everyone was downstairs and random tapping here and there. Nothing too crazy.

I hadn't experienced any of this for myself until I got older and moved in with my grandparents.
