The White House has long been rumored to be haunted by several former tenants, including

Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, and Teddy Roosevelt.

The White House is not only haunted by presidents, though.

David Burns, who owned the land before the federal government,

has also said to walk the halls and has even been seen in the Oval Office.

There are other haunted locations in the nation's capital

that don't get as much acclaim for their ghostly prowess.

The Capitol building is reportedly haunted by several former members of Congress.

President's Park, better known as Lafayette Square, may have its own spectral resident.

Philip Barton Key II, who was the son of Francis Scott Key, who wrote the Starspringled banner supposedly haunts these premises.

And then you have the Octagon, which could be the most haunted of all locations in the District of Columbia.
