Thank you. True Crime Podcast. Today, we're diving into a terrifying case out of Arkansas. In July, a hiking trip turned deadly for a family who was hiking at Devil's Den State Park.

43-year-old Clinton Brink and his wife, 41-year-old Kristen Brink, were stabbed to death in front of their two young children.

Andrew McGahn, a schoolteacher, was later arrested in connection to the crime and charged with two counts of

capital murder. Washington County prosecuting attorney Brandon Carter has stated his plans to seek

the death penalty against McGahn. Fox News overnight anchor Chanley Painter previously served as a deputy

prosecutor in Arkansas and joins me now with a look at this chilling crime.

What happened there on that horrible day.

What a tragedy, like you said,

first of all, I'm from Arkansas. Nothing like this ever happens in the state of Arkansas.

It's rare to have such a random violent act of murder. You know, I've lived there most of my life.

And so this was shocking to hear, especially in a state park where you can always feel safe.
