There's a lot of feedback people empathizing with the caller. A lot of people saying the caller sounded like a good mom and a lot of people giving me advice on better ways to clean my shower drain.

Like if you told me to make a list of topics when we first started the show of things I hope I get to talk about on here someday, that list would have been very long.

But one of the things on there would have been this exact call, the caller, height the Appalachian Trail. Appalachian Trail. Appalachian Trail.

And we talked about the rigor of that, the struggle of that, the dangers with that, the beauty of that, the people you meet along the way, the ones to be wary of, as well as the angels.

It's cool. It's just one of those things that it's cool that it exists. It's there. The Appalachian Trail.

There's people walking up and down it every year. And if you're like me, it's not too far from my house. There's people wandering.

This person wandered not too far from my house and maybe your house. And there's something about that that theoretically makes me so happy.
