And sometimes it's that perspective that you need.

You know, people sometimes just let themselves, you know, wear those weighted boots that keep dragging them down, dragging them down.

You got to go, hey, you know what? It's not that bad. Yeah. Not that bad. Other people got it way worse. We got this after-hour's voicemail, and I apologize. It's a little long, but listen to what this person has to do. All right. Hey, Woody. I'm catching up to the podcast. You guys have talked about this before. worstst Nightmare Menace, Greg, right, is to go to the hospital having a catheter in. Well, I unfortunately lived your worst nightmare. A few years ago, I was in the military, got out, ended up with cancer, right? Tumors on my spine. They compressed on my spine so hard. They ruined my bladder had the um had the tumors removed but i don't have any bladder function at all about five times a day

i have to cast myself right and so the VA they made it pretty easy they send me boxes and boxes

of disposable catheters using

lunch they're only they come pre-lubricated they called coloplast speedy caps you can look a month

anyway um yeah it's freaking horrible uh essentially i got used to it not that my ween is callous

but uh it doesn't hurt as much not uncomfortable as as much. And when I tell people, right, a guy's immediate reaction, it's just a, whoa. Yeah. One of them, like, they start holding their weans. Oh, my God, it feels so, like, terrible, and this, that, the other. Like, yeah, it's pretty, pretty bad. Anyway, more you talk about it, the more normal it becomes. So, you know, I'm just trying to still live my normal, my normal ass life. But anyway, just thought you guys should know. When I did go through radiation, I listen to the Woody Show every day, driving from Anaheim over to West L.A. It was not, didn't make it better, but made it tolerable.

Oh, my God. Yeah. So, wow. So can you imagine every time you have to pee, you have to give yourself a catheter? Well, do you know who has to do that? I don't know. still, I think he does,

I think it's in the movie where he's on a motocross bike and it lands on his junk. And to this day, he still has to do that. Yeah. Is that right? Years. Yes. Go. Yeah. The same exact thing that he's talking about right there. So as you got things that are frustrating going on, and trust me, I'm a person. I need these things. Yeah, I needed that too. I need these things quite often where, you know, because you get so caught up in your own garbage. A little perspective. A little perspective. Like, imagine every time you have to pee, you have to give yourself a catheter.

No.

I don't even know if he knows he has to pee. He probably, because if he has no bladder control, it just happens. So he's just got to believe himself. You're on some sort of a schedule. All the time. Is that right? Yeah. Like you wouldn't even feel like the pressure, I guess. I'm not sure, but I knew a guy in a wheelchair and he had a catheter and he said sometimes I didn't even realize I was peeing.

Oh, wow.

That might be a different thing with paralysis.
