I want to bring my Christmas message that I bring the first week of December nearly every year.

I didn't look at any of the book or any of the content I did for that message, but I'm going to talk about Mary,

and the title of the message is highly favored and it's what Gabriel said to Mary

when he told her she was going to have Jesus. Luke Chapter 1 verse verse 26, it says, now in the sixth month,

now let me explain that just for a moment,

we're coming right out of Zacharice and Elizabeth

being told they're going to have John the Baptist.

So when it says now in the six month it means in the six month of Elizabeth's pregnancy.

And so we're just kind of jumping in so I just want to explain why it says that all right now in the six month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth to a virgin betrothed or engaged to a man whose name was Joseph of the House of David.

The Virgin's name was Mary.

And having come in, the angel said to her, rejoice, highly favored one.

The Lord is with you.

Blessed are you among women.

Rejoice, highly favored one.

So I've got three questions for you.

We're going to talk about this message.

Does God have favorites?

I mean, when you read this, this angel is talking to the mother of Jesus. So obviously, she's a favorite.
