So as a as a beginner, as we talk about your book, the first question that I have is, why do

so many salon professionals struggle with managing their money?

Nobody ever talks to them unless they're lucky enough to have a parent or a mentor most people

get into this business young and they don't get any financial guidance um to what they should do

with their money and that's pretty much every profession.

You talk about the beauty profession.

You talk about, you know, the NBA, the NFL, all these guys come in out of college,

really skilled, and they make a lot of money.

And unless they listen to somebody, they just run through it.

So, you know, that's the reason why I got it was to hopefully give some education and some literacy to these young folks who were getting into the business.

Isn't it amazing that you can go through the educational system, the standard general educational system?

And I'm going to say in the United

States, and I think it's in other countries too, but I'm not so sure. But you can go through

the educational system with the normal curriculum that we have, you know, grade school, elementary

school, high school, and even college, without having one class on personal finance.

Not one class.
