storytelling and creativity? Well, I was inspired to create Sophia by the legacy of mythos and ancient

stories, as well as science fiction and the modern practice of the arts

using technologies. These were fascinating factors for me as a kid. And it seemed to me that AI could

be truly intelligent in our lifetimes, that it could be used to potentially accelerate

the discovery of the nature of intelligence and invention of additional kinds of intelligence.
