I knew that I didn't want to be in a salon setting in a four walls every day for the rest of my career.

I had just changed my, you know, entire career

goal from, you know, pursuing law to going into cosmology because I wanted the ability

to create and have freedom. And so I was not about to turn around and put myself back in a box.

You know, you are only, I always tell people, you're only as small as the box you allow yourself and other people to put in. Like all of us can show up big. We don't have to show up small. And so because of that reason, I wanted to make sure that, um, I still had that ability. So even when it came to being in a salon, working, you know, and I've done, I'm 41, I've done a lot of different, I've worked in commission salons. I've had a booth. I've had a suite. I've owned a suite salon. I've owned a commission salon. You know, like I've done all the, all the different things. And, you know, it's really about pivoting and adjusting to what works for you.

But making sure that even as I started to attract clientele, I always attracted clientele that one had a certain lifestyle where they knew that they could be flexible.

Like they would need me to be flexible with them. You so I my clientele for the last you know 15 20 years has consisted of

you know teachers um attorneys doctors like yes I've done celebrities and they're amazing but my

bread and butter is my everyday celebrities um And so, you know, making sure that, you know, hey, my kid has a thing or, hey, I have to stay after work.
