And then my husband and I got engaged and were getting married in

six months. And my father-in-law as a very wise businessman, he's a financial advisor. And he kind of

sat me down and wanted to know all the reasons why I wouldn't go independent.

I didn't know anything about being an independent.

All I knew was this environment that I was in.

And the hairstylist that he went to owned a booth rental salon.

And I guess they had been talking about me.

And so he sort of sat me down and kind of presented this plan and was like,

I will fund you for six months, your rent, if you think you can make it work.

Nice. And so I was kind of, yeah, it's kind of hard not to turn down. And so, and I always have to say this as well. I don't necessarily recommend my path. It is my path. It is not what I think is right or wrong. It's just what happened to me. So I'd only actually been in the industry for two years, including my apprenticeship, when I went out on my own as an independent.

Got it. And so you didn't have a full clientele or, I mean, what percentage of your time
