So now, Michelle Obama is the most powerful African American woman in the world.

More powerful in Oprah, more powerful than any politician.

African Americans and many white Americans pay close attention to what she says.

Now I was hoping that President Obama and Michelle Obama would be uniters on the race

situation, which is intense.

We all know that.

It's more divisive now than in any other time in my lifetime, maybe with the exception

of the Vietnam war, black panther situation, maybe that was worse, but it's close.

It's close.

Black and white Americans are not real comfortable with one another.

I can tell you that as a fact.

All right?

I don't, I have some African American friends and my friendships have not been impacted.

We still have very lively and honest conversations.

But I know a lot of white people don't want anything to do with blacks.

Not because they're biased, but they're afraid.

They're afraid to say something wrong or offend or so they just would rather retreat.

African American people feel that.

Feel that they're not being treated as another white person.

And it's true.
