The story about this 42-year-old guy.

He has filed a lawsuit against a restaurant in Italy after they featured him in this promo video on social media without his consent.

You know, normally being a video, not that big a deal, but for this guy, he was cheating

on his wife and he was at the restaurant with his side piece.

And the guy's wife happened to see the video and he was caught so she kicked him out of the

house.

I thought that was allowed in Italy. Filed for a divorce, but the man wants his revenge. So he's filed this lawsuit claiming that his rights to privacy had been violated. Now, Seabest, I'm sure you could speak more to. And maybe not Italy, but like, let's just say. The EU has way with different rules than we do. Let's just say here, let's say Menace is cheating on his wife. And he's out at some cafe. And this happens to him. Like, what's the expectation of privacy? Even if you're out of privately owned business, you're still out in public. You're not like the inside. Because it's not a restroom. I understand all restrooms, no matter if it's a public restroom or private restroom, like in someone's house, you have an expectation of privacy. But if you're just like at a restaurant. Yeah, his claim wouldn't be expectation of privacy because it's a publicly accessible building. His claim might be right of publicity, meaning I can't use your image to sell products. You know, I can't just... Unless they have one of those signs up at the door, it said... You want to be filmed? Yeah, you ever see those? Yeah, which is fine for like promo videos, or you see those at concerts and stuff like that. But as far as actually producing a commercial, which is why I don't like it when you're at a gym and, like, the trainer, then grabs phone and starts while you're in the middle of something so you can't object to it. I hate that too. They start taking their phone and like scanning across the whole. I'm like, let me do my crunches, you know? It's impolite. I hate that when that happens. I know. In the middle of burpees. but it's, yeah, it's rude. Well, the lawsuit is ongoing. The guy is seeking damages.

He's considering filing a complaint with the Italian data protection authority. Yeah, like I said, they have way more strict things. But also, isn't that kind of like blaming the wrong person? Yeah. You know, like, that's also kind of just on you for being a jackass. Yeah, you got busted, man.
