Summary

Today's podcast is the third in a three-part series on overcoming your past and letting go of shame.

Katie Wilson, from our community group in Tupelo, Mississippi, shares her story of discovering God in the midst of the self-induced storms of her life - from anorexia to an abortion to alcohol abuse; Katie will remind you that the messiness of your story is actually where God will highlight His love the most.

TRIGGER ALERT! Today's episode talks about abortion and date rape. We just wanted to caution you as you may want to skip this one, listen with a friend, and be careful if you have young ears around listening with you.

IN THIS EPISODE, YOU WILL LEARN:
God wants you to look back over your life and find Him in the messes of your story.
God wants you to see His relentless pursuit of you.
No matter what your past holds, you are totally accepted by God.

really great to bring you a series. So first we had Grace, who was in her 20s, then we had Tendell, who's in her 30s. And now we have Katie, who is in her 50s. And Katie shared this story in Tupelo, Mississippi in their live gathering. And you know, God is always so good how he sets these stories up. Because honestly, I mean, you look at Grace's story and it was really just about learning how to walk in that

freedom of not walking in shame. And then you look at Tyndall's story and it was more about, okay,
