Brett Sayer of baseball prospectus. And Brett is someone that I've been playing dynasty baseball

with for a very long time. And about a month ago, in fact, almost a month ago today on March 1st, he called

me and we had a talk about starting a expert dynasty league that would be unlike the other

expert dynasty leagues we had played in. And Brett came up with a bunch of cool rules that really make this league unique.

It's the Highlander Dynasty Invitational.

But since Brett, like you came up with 90% of this,

I kind of want to just give you the floor first and just sort of say, like, what was the genesis of this?

How long had you been sort of thinking about these specific rules and what's the overall purpose here?

Sure.

The, yeah, it stemmed from, it stemmed from a lot of thoughts over the last couple of years.

You know, James, you've been in TDGX with us for a while, which is the Dynasty Guru expert league, which is kind of the, you know, I don't claim to know all of the

expert leagues out there, but, I mean, it was really designed to be the first kind of true

expert dynasty league. And we launched it in 2013 or 2014.

And it was, you know, it was successful in its purpose for a while.

And the, you know, it kind of fell into a lot of the same trappings that a lot of dynasty

leagues fall into where you have, you have sort of, you have owners that end up,

you know, kind of waning in interest a little bit,

and partially because there are a handful of teams that are just in there

kind of hustling a little bit more than everyone else and figuring out

how to make trades with the right teams and it eventually, even if it doesn't break the league,
