Charlie looks into an article from The Atlantic, which despite not being a website that Charlie frequents, get something tragically right: today's young people represent the saddest generation ever. Depression, drug use, anxiety and many other negative factors are all on the rise. But what are the driving factors that have pushed these troubling trends to a boiling point? Charlie breaks it down and gives some advice for parents on how to deal with this depression if you're experiencing it with a young person at home. Next, Charlie invites Michael Knowles to the show to discuss Charlie's most recent "trending on Twitter" moment after he made the point that tall buildings are often correlated with increasingly liberal communities. As the media decried his comment as irrational and unhinged, Charlie and Michael break down the rationale for the line of reasoning including, as political scientists have outlined, the correlation between population density and political party affiliation. Was Charlie "unhinged" as Media Matters tried to infer, or is there a deeper truth conservatives have ignored for too long?
